No. Soundproof focuses on local noise cleanup and loudness. It returns a cleaned audio or video file that you can review or send to an approved transcription workflow.
Can it clean a folder of interviews?
Yes. Add multiple recordings to the batch queue and process them together.
Does it overwrite the research recording?
No. Soundproof exports a separately named cleaned copy. Keep the original according to your research and retention policy.
Can it clean Zoom or Meet video?
Yes, after you export or download the recording. Soundproof accepts common Mac video formats and can replace the audio track while preserving the picture.
Is the cleaned file automatically compliant with our consent or privacy policy?
No. Soundproof keeps its cleanup step local, but your team remains responsible for consent, access, retention, sharing and every later step in the research workflow.
